The most successful events at the Dunedin Gasworks Museum!

The special events at the Dunedin Gasworks Museum ‘South Dunedin Open Heritage Day and Golden Years of Gas brought visitor numbers records and exciting experiences!

The  ‘South Dunedin Heritage Open Day ‘ on Saturday 19th of February (10:00 – 4:00pm) was a successful event with over 500 visitors! Also the ‘GOLDEN YEARS OF GAS – FIRED UP GASWORKS SPECIAL !’ on Sunday 20th of March 2011 (12 noon – 4pm) during the Otago Anniversary weekend was a success with over 350 visitors! At both events free Guided Tours, Traction Engine Rides, Bus rides, and Refreshments were offered at the Gasworks Museum and also Life Music!
